Horoscope: March 6 – 12, 2017

March 6 – 12

Heightened intuition

What to expect: Intuitive hits
What to watch out for: Overspending
What will it affect? Relationships, money, contracts, communication

We are a little bit psychic on March 6th as mercury meets up with Pisces. Normally when these two come together it’s a great time for signing contracts. But because Venus is retrograde, a contract now might end up being a little too expensive. Take caution particularly if you are in beauty or money related fields. It’s also a great time to take a short little vacation. But again with Venus retrograde, expect bad hair, sun burn or other beauty fails. Focus instead on the relaxation.

Between March 7th and 8th mercury will make a positive connection with Pluto and Vesta. Words will be particularly powerful. If you are making a speech or delivering an important email, now is the time to craft and deliver it. If something has not been making sense, you can also use this time to investigate a matter. Not only will we be able to uncover needed material, but we will have impressive intuitive hits on what to ask and what to stay curious about. Mercury is in deeply intuitive Pisces and Vesta is in caring and nurturing Cancer. We often forget how powerful a kind word can be. Or how nurturing feeling understood can be. We often forget how powerful a kind word can be. Or how nurturing feeling understood can be. We can tap into this powerful energy by asking the right kind of questions and holding space for the right kind of curiosity.

Why? Sun Conjunction Mercury, Mercury Sextile Transiting Pluto, Mercury Trine Transiting Vesta

Personal Transformation

What to expect: Uncovering unconscious material
What to watch out for: Resisting change
What will it affect? Personal power, women’s Issues, unconscious wounds, collective wounds

March 9th and 10th are great days to work with a coach or take part in a personal transformational program. Mercury will meet up with the wounded healer Chiron and the feminine goddess of pattern recognition Pallas. It’s a time when you might think you have nothing to say, but when you start to speak the words start following out of your mouth. Suddenly you realize that there has been stuff lying just beneath the surface that has been bothering you. There is likelihood that this unspoken wound is related to our womanhood as Lilith, the angry feminine squares the nodes. Once it’s all out there, the words have been spoken and you now know you have a problem, you may throw on the breaks. Mars moves into stubborn and security focused Taurus and doesn’t really enjoy change.

Why? Sun Sextile Transiting Pluto, Mercury Conjunction Transiting Pallas, Mercury Conjunction Transiting Chiron, Mars Entering Taurus, North Node Square Black Moon

Virgo Full Moon

What to expect: Opportunity to heal
What to watch out for: Faith and trust issues
What will it affect? Relationships, Spirituality, Family

The Full Moon this month is on March 12th and we are making sense of our deepest wounds. The moon is in Virgo. When Virgo gets emotional, they start cleaning, organizing, classifying. If they are upset, they may be a little judgemental. This Virgo moon sits opposite to the Pisces Sun. Right beside the Sun is Pallas and Chiron. While emotional Virgo may be getting stuck in the details, Pallas in Pisces helps us to take a step back and see the spiritual big picture. It might not be pretty. This might be stuff we thought we left in the past and don’t care to look at again. It may even bring up a collective wound. Allowing it to do so now will help bring a culmination to not only our personal wounds but also our trans-personal wounds. That’s the job of a Full Moon!

Be warned, sometimes the truth of the matter gets us a little down. This will be particularly so because at the Full Moon, Mercury will be square Saturn. Unfortunately, it brings out some negativity and even small mindedness. There may be challenges in our belief system or we may just be scratching our heads wondering what the hell? For example; lately we may have been astounded when, despite solid facts, people still try to hold onto beliefs that just don’t hold up. Rather than going outside and pointing figures, look within at your own thinking. What ways have you put up roadblocks? How have you been approaching things with a small mind? How are you holding up progressive change? Working with tools designed to help shift perspectives will help to reduce any low feelings. Maybe this is volunteering with a group or community you know very little about. The silver lining is that Virgo is always open to helping and serving. So shifting your focus towards helping others can help you to help and heal yourself!

Why? Full Moon at 22°Vi13′, Mercury Square Saturn

Horoscope: Feb 27 – March 5, 2017

Feb 27 – March 5

A greater purpose

What to expect: Making sense of things
What to watch out for: Faith and trust issues
What will it affect? Relationships, Spirituality, Family

Early this week, we are still on the heels of a solar eclipse in Pisces. By March 1st our logic will come into alignment with our emotions, spirit and greater purpose as the Sun and Neptune come together in a conjunction. At the same time, our emotions will come into alignment with logic as the Moon meets up with Uranus, Mars and Jupiter on the same day. It’s a couple of days after the eclipse and we now have the information the eclipse sought to bring. If you feel like acting quickly, now is a great time as we are following our intuition with a connected head and heart and that makes our intuition laser beam on point. The best decisions are always made when head AND heart are connected.

On March 1st mercury, the communication planet will also have conversations with Juno, the marriage and partnership asteroid now in Capricorn and Ceres now in Taurus. It’s a conversation that goes a little bit like this:

Mercury – I sense that there is something that needs to be shared in order for your needs to be met and to be held in this partnership.

Ceres – Yes, I feel loved and cared for when I am nurture with healthy food, when I have a stable existence and when I get lots of cuddles.

Juno – I can work with that, but I have a fence around my heart and the only way to tear down that wall is for us to respect, I mean truly respect each other and to be committed to this partnership… long term.

Mercury – I love this conversation! And you don’t even need to speak; I’ll help you communicate your needs and feelings, on a psychic intuitive level. I’ll make sure you both get it, without even needing to use words!… great conversation guys!

On the same day as all this great psychic communication is going on, Pallas is also in Pisces connecting with Vesta and helping to merge our healthy partnerships with a larger universal purpose.

Seeking Guidance

What to expect: A need to react
What to watch out for: Ignoring help
What will it affect? Relationships, Communication, Spirituality

On March 2nd Jupiter will come into exact opposition with Uranus. This energy has been at play for the last week or so, and now its energy is perfected. It’s a throw the baby out with the bath water type of energy. It a great idea to beam out and connect with our greater source now. Whether that’s God, Angels, Guides or whatever you believe in, you can tap into a guidance system to help you navigate this impatient energy. Mercury is moving into a conjunction with Neptune and will create an uninterrupted divinely perfect line to your guidance system.

Why? Jupiter opposite Uranus, Mercury Conjunction Neptune

Venus Retrograde in Aries

What to expect: Tested values, relationship issues
What to watch out for: Aggressiveness
What will it affect? Relationships, money, self concept

On March 4th Venus goes retrograde. It will retrograde until April 15th. It starts its retrograde at 13 degree of Aries. Aries is the first sign of the zodiac. Its associate with “I am”, meaning it focuses on who we are as individuals. Aries is a sign that seeks independence. It pioneers and frontiers, seeking meaning in sovereignty. But how do we incorporate this energy into relationship? Perhaps the meaning in the Sabian symbols for each degree of the zodiac can help us understand.

Technically, as we move over the 13th degree mark, we are moving into the energy of the 14th degree of the zodiac. If we look at the Sabian symbol for that degree we get “a serpent coiling near a man and a woman”. The meaning of this degree is about the acceptance of relationship as a higher spiritual purpose. We remain independent but are brought together through a weaving union that expands the energy and draws it to heaven. To get there we need to know and love ourselves and this is fundamentally an Aries prerogative.

But Venus in Aries is notoriously the chaser. This chasing energy is not the Venus way. Venus attracts. And when she is in her element she does so without needing to lift a finger – she is magnetic. Venus in Aries is impatient and aggressively pursues relationship, forgetting that what makes her attract and ultimately able to accept relationship, is knowing and loving herself. When she fully knows who “I am” is she is magnetic. But until she does, she is in a constant state of the ‘fear of merging’ even though on the surface it looks the opposite. She is the consummate commitment phobe who vehemently denies it by saying “I’m out there all the time, dating and trying”. BUT the truth is Venus never tries.

As Venus retrogrades in Aries, this is a time to focus on finding what we value in ourselves and to fully love and embrace it.

You may ask “but where do I direct all my Aries drive to “do”? Well Venus is in Aries, the sign ruled by mars and to some extent, some of that energy can and will get channeled into Mars, currently at home in Aries. Fortunately Mars will make a trine to Saturn on March 5th and if we tap into it, it provides a steady concentrated focus. If we need to “resist” or to have discipline, this energy will help us. Find something you love, something that is quintessentially you and put your energy into on March 5th. Is that writing? Or painting? Is it climbing a mountain? Or is it something you think you will like and have never tried? Whatever it is, you’ll get a lot accomplished and it’s a way better use of the energy.

Horoscope: Feb 20 – 26, 2017

Feb 20 – 26

Idea Generation

What to expect: Brilliant ideas
What to watch out for: Limiting idea generation
What will it affect? Communications, thinking, beliefs, direction

On Feb 20th we are filled with florescent light bulb moments. It’s a great day for brainstorming and coming up with new ideas. If you’ve been stuck, this is the day to wordplay. No idea is a bad idea. Get them all out on sticky notes and decide later which make the most sense. “Bad ideas” can lead to brilliant ones. The sun will also connect with the nodes leading us in the right direction. It may mean that we leave some people or things behind. With the Sun in Pisces, we are connecting with a spiritual purpose, one that may seem very familiar to us, as though maybe from a past life. This makes whatever comes to us seem easy; like it’s old hat. On Feb 21st we can take all those great ideas and bring them to a diverse group. This is a great time to do market research, gather opinions and test your market. If you already have a product, especially if it’s a workshop or educational product, this is a great time to present and teach.

Why? Mercury Sextile Uranus, Sun Opposition North Node, Mercury Trine Jupiter,

Power and Perspective

What to expect: Backing up solid idea
What to watch out for: Misuse of Power
What will it affect? Communications, structures, foundations

On Feb 22nd the energy will become tense. It will test your integrity. How do you handle power? There is a tendency to misuse power. It’s a good time to build strategy, which is a better way to use the energy. Just be sure you have good intentions at heart.
On the 23rd Mercury will make a helpful connection with Saturn. Mercury is in the last days of Aquarius and is continuing to brim with ideas. Saturn will help to infuse those ideas with solid research and educational grounding. Our beliefs around science may shift and we may be able to back an argument or reformulate an existing thought with a new perspective.

Why? Mars Square Pluto, Mercury Sextile Saturn

Connecting with our family/tribe

What to expect: Building ties
What to watch out for: Fear of our leadership
What will it affect? Communications, thinking, beliefs, direction

On the 23/25th the Sun in Pisces will connect with Ceres (mother and nurturer) and Juno (marriage asteroid) bringing our self assertion, our spiritual purpose, and our commitment to our self and our path, in alignment with family, partnerships and our children. There we find a groundedness and safety which allows us to step out and pursue our true calling. Don’t worry, they are following us. We stand in example to those who love us. This banding together may happen in direct relation to an outside conflict. When the world goes crazy, banding together with our family, the one we were born into, is a now source of comfort and a form of shared guidance. We may also come together with a created family, our soul family, a source of safety as we forge a path towards something together.

Why? Sun Sextile Ceres, Sun Sextile Transiting Juno, Mars Square Vesta

Pisces Solar Eclipse

What to expect: Awakening
What to watch out for: Chaotic feelings
What will it affect? Governments, communication, beliefs, direction, emotions

Pluto in Capricorn has been transforming government and world structures over the last couple of years. As it connects with Pallas in Pisces on the Feb 26th we start to grasp the spiritual patterns and/or the sacred geometry at play. We start to understand things on a deeper level. At the same time there may be some spiritual idea or communication that sets off a crisis of faith or belief. We question everything we have ever known or hold abnormally tight, fighting the winds of change. Not to worry if it’s a little unsettling. That grounded family or tribal energy of the last couple of days is still at play, holding us in a safety bubble, and will allow us to explore new ideas safely.

Mars also makes a connection with Uranus, triggering the unexpected energy of the planet in Aries. This is a fiery combination that is gaining intensity as it makes an opposition to Jupiter. Expect the earth to rumble beneath us. This is an explosive energy and the new realizations mentioned earlier sit in the background of the solar eclipse.
The solar eclipse on Feb 26th is itself in Pisces, and sits close to Neptune and is widely opposing the north node. This makes it a deeply spiritual eclipse. Both Pisces and Neptune are associated with intuition, vision and creativity. They are connected to the mystical, magical and illusory. And as the moon eclipses the sun we are awakened from a dream. There is something explosive and hasty about this Solar Eclipse. We feel urgency and explode into realization like a supernova. We realize something, or everything, and are spurred into action. Facing these realizations may be hard. Though difficult, this is a time to embrace compassion, caring and the spiritual even in the face of the drama. Refrain from trying to numb out or if you need to numb out, choose an award winning film, a water spa or retreat rather than drugs, alcohol or denial.
