March Horoscope 2015

March Horoscope 2015

2015-02-27 18.20.04Our thoughts are so important in creating our lives and our worlds. Mixed with emotion, our thoughts become particularly powerful. This month, thoughts will be very creative and emotions will be high. This means we’ll have an unusual ability to create whatever is in our hearts and minds – for ill or for good.

On the 2nd of March, Mercury sextile Uranus will generate unusual and potentially cutting edge thoughts and opinions. Mercury will also oppose Jupiter which will expand those thoughts. But it also will make us all a little opinionated and overconfident. This change may be a time when we can really listen to people and to see what they are made of. Venus will oppose the North Node, so if we don’t like what we are hearing or if we realize that it doesn’t Jive with our values, we can make healthy decisions to let them go with love.

By March 3rd, Jupiter will trine Uranus. Fortunately (or unfortunately, depending on your perspective) it’s a bit of a roller coaster ride and by this point there is no getting off. We are now at the top, ready to plunge at a crazy speed. From that point to the end of the month, our bottoms barely touch the seat even though we are strapped in. Our lungs may not register when to take a breath. We’ll either be screaming with delight or sheer terror! Even though Jupiter is retrograde, it will still expand the energy of Uranus. We’ll feel it on the inside. Uranus is the planet of surprises. It’s also the planet of humanitarianism, change, forward thinking, and innovation. It’s in Aries which is associated with pioneering a new direction, living courageously, and defining ourselves. It’s a little like the first Tarot Card, the Fool, who often leaps before thinking. But that’s not all….

On March 4th, Venus will also join the party. We value our freedoms at this time but perhaps someone else would like to control them – so there will be a little bit of a clash starting out the month of March.

The full moon on March 5th will be in Virgo. This is a powerful full moon with a great deal of unconscious material floating to the surface for examination. Virgo will help us to sift through the information and make sense of it. It’s a detailed moon with transformative power as it will also be connected to Pluto. Those ready to step into their power will do so at this time. It’s a culmination of much inner work and we may see many finally stepping into the leadership to which they were called. They will embrace their role to transform our world in positive ways. Mars is opposite the North Node on the 6th which helps us to move in a new direction. By the weekend, the Sun conjuncts Chiron (the wounded healer) and we will feel a strong spiritual direction emerge.

8377186_sOn March 10th, Mars will trine Jupiter and this change will feel like going up the second hill of that same roller coaster ride. The next day, Mars conjuncts Uranus and we are plunging again, this time with a bit of a twist or turn. Mars squares Pluto in Capricorn. Those in power might pull a move and you may find yourself suspended in midair. Are they really checking for safety or is this just a move to try and prove who’s in control?

Mercury will move into Pisces on March 12th giving our language and communication an idealist tone. But by the 16th, Mercury will square Saturn which may be the reason for the narrow-thinking and pessimism that seems to emerge. This energy also won’t help with the other major astrological event for that day created when Pluto and Uranus square. This is the last square Pluto and Uranus will have for many years to come, but with all the Mars and Jupiter action of the last couple of days, this one does come with a bit of a bang. I feel like telling everyone to hold a heart shaped crystal or some rose quartz. As much as you can, block out the negative thinking and increase the love.  Reflect back on the last six squares between Pluto and Uranus. You can also read the horoscopes for those dates to get an idea of the energy; how it’s been playing out in your life and on the world stage. I only started writing about the monthly energy in 2013, but you can get the picture from the one’s I wrote; June 24, 2012, Sept 18, 2012, May 20, 2013, Nov 1, 2013, April 21, 2014, Dec 14, 2014.

By the 18th, Mercury will conjunct Neptune, which will help us to tap into our intuitions and our ability to vision. If we can hold onto this energy for a couple of days, we’ll have a New Moon Solar eclipse in Pisces on March 20th.

The solar eclipse is at 29o Pisces which makes it a very spiritual, compassionate, self-sacrificing New Moon. It makes a favourable connection with Saturn, grounding its energy. On the 14th, Saturn turned retrograde. It’s in Sagittarius now but it will head back and dip into Scorpio toward the summer. Before it gets there, we’ll have the chance to reflect on some of the early lessons in Sagittarius. Sagittarius rules religion and higher learning. This solar eclipse energy makes an aspect to it so we can set intentions – then we’ll really understand the direction in which we should head. The eclipse is a happy positive eclipse according to *Bernadette Brady. Creative projects and romantic relationships can have sudden success and positive creativity. This result can occur on both the group and the individual level. If an eclipse is connected to a planet in your chart, you will have an opportunity to really embrace this energy and help evolve the planet forward.

On March 22nd, Mercury will connect with Pluto, sending us into deep penetrating topics. By the 24th when it conjuncts Chiron, we will have a chance to have deeper discussions that can potentially heal hurt feelings. Venus sextile Neptune on the same day promises a way to deepen and spiritualize the love, thus feeding your soul.

By March 25th, we are back to business when the Sun trines Saturn. Stay the course as we move toward the lunar eclipse at the beginning of April. We start to get a little more intense again. Venus trine Pluto on the 30th makes us a feel our emotions a little more intensely – by the last day of March, we may be realizing some truths. With Mars moving into Taurus on the same day, our persistence and desires may be strengthened.

Read the Horoscope for each sign:

Aries:

Big changes have been occurring in who you are and who you are presenting in the work place. This change has also been transforming your career. This month you will be the pinnacle point of all of that activity. The eclipse will be in your 12th house, helping you to unlock buried sources of love from within.

Taurus:

You may sense a course correction this month as unconscious material floats to the surface. Actually it might pop to the surface, surprising you. You are expanding into your spiritual gifts and shifting your beliefs. You are also tapping into your childhood passions again. At the eclipse, you can share your ideas with the world in a political forum or in connection with your growing tribe.

Gemini:

The bottom is finally falling out from whatever has been moving and shifting in your finances. Everyone seems to be coming out of the woodwork, friends, past acquaintances – or this might even be a political favour that leaves you feeling pushed and pulled. The good news is that shifts in your marriage or partnership may lead you in a new direction. It might be a proposal or it might just be finally aligning with the right mate on a deeper level.

Cancer:

Where is your relationship heading? This month might take you to the edge. Taking things to the edge is often required in order to evolve our relationships further. We don’t really hold or own others. This month your ability to flow with changes without attachment will be tested. The eclipse on the 20th will help you to tap into profound and spiritual truths about love.

Leo:

Your leadership is being called on to transform your work and the beliefs we have about work. You’re leading the way on this but first your own beliefs must be examined and transformed. This month will push that development forward. You can expect the eclipse to help you readjust your leadership style. If your ego has been getting in the way, this adjustment might feel uncomfortable. Take time to examine your roles. Re-read ‘The Power of Now.’

Virgo:

The lucky thing is that Jupiter will be sitting on your shoulder like a protective angel this month, so don’t be frightened if you seem to be turned inside out. The creative process is easy; think of a baby being born. It brings a beautiful gift, but the process is one that leaves a mark. Spend time asking women about their birth stories and you’ll resonate with their energy this month. The eclipse this month has the potential to connect you with your soul mate. If you’re already connected, this will take it deeper.

Libra:

You might feel a little uprooted this month. Let’s say you find out that your partner had a relationship before you were together that produced a love child (I think this happened to Gwen Stephanie). It’s this kind of left field information that floats the surface and completely changes your foundations. The eclipse will put you in touch with service and love for humanity. It might feel exhausting and you might want to hold back, but this change is likely the best thing for you right now.

Scorpio:

You might feel like you have a left foot at work this month. If your boss is coming down on you, know that it’s just a sign saying something is misaligned in your self presentation. They can’t figure you out, so they would prefer if you just conform. How you give your gifts is really being transformed and it’s just a matter of getting clear feedback. You may have foot in mouth syndrome (which might be commonplace) but reflecting back on what floats out of your mouth will help you adjust your new and emerging perspective. The solar eclipse will be expressed in an inspired love for your children – or creativity if you don’t have children.

Sagittarius:

Projects can really take off this month. All that is required is a little more belief in yourself. You’re able to win the support of your constituent, whomever and for whatever purpose they are in your life. It might be a political group or it might be a tribe that you are creating for a creative endeavour. The eclipse will help you tap into the spiritual linage or heritage that you may have been ignoring. They are your gifts. Use them.

Capricorn:

There may be some disruption in your home this month. One of your children might move back in or you might be asked to take care of your grandchildren, leaving your house and home completely turned upside down. It’s another chance for you to define/redefine who you are becoming. Your old communication style might re-emerge mid month, but it’s an opportunity to adjust your thinking and your communication style for a better, more effective approach. If things are getting lost in translation, maybe there’s a better approach. The eclipse will help you access a more loving communication style.

Aquarius:

You have some innovative ideas on communications. There will be lots of unconscious material floating to the surface for you to access. Maybe it’s from your unconscious, but it might also be inspired by the universe. You’re having a Tesla moment this month. The more you partner and share your ideas, the more access you will have to the inspiration. True, Tesla was not recognized during his lifetime for his creations. Yes, maybe they were stolen, but don’t worry whose idea it was or let the idea of whose creation it was stop you from allowing the creation to emerge. The eclipse will help you to access deeper levels of self love and selflessness.

Pisces:

Hitting the jackpot in terms of your earnings will throw you a little off kilter. This jackpot will be the result of hard work (not a lottery winning), so you should be able to access your worthiness a little more quickly. You will become the epitome of the new spiritual movement that is emerging with respect to work. Leader is being transformed to Mastermind as you spread the word about the power of working together. Work teams are being transformed into work tribes. The eclipse will help you tap into the universe of love within yourself.

February Horoscope 2015

2015-01-30 10.17.12February Horoscope 2015

Is there a better way to start the month of love than with Venus conjunct Neptune? When these two come together, it’s romance, universal love, and high ideals. It’s not very grounded, so don’t make any big decisions about love or money. But it is creative, so use the day to pour your passion into something you love, whether that’s a creative project that will make you money at a later date or a relationship filled with promise. On the last day of January, Mars was conjunct Chiron which triggered some wounds on the collective level. It had to do with the idea of authenticity and ourselves. The more we can allow one another to be ourselves authentically, the more we will feel that universal love. All four planets are now in Pisces at the beginning of the month, so the volume is turned up on universal love. With the Moon in Cancer opposing Pluto, it promises to be a highly emotional day.

The Full Moon happens on February 3rd. The Moon will be in Leo joined by Jupiter, creating no less than a flare for the dramatic. We might as well set up a speaker’s corner for this one. Those who will want to be heard will be on their soapbox. If you do hear one of these rants, stop and listen. There is likely to be some original and forward thinking taking place. It may even be a warning Evan Almighty style that will come completely out of left field. But we are now able to see the big picture of what is emerging – if we look and listen closely. Not only might they gain some support for new and exciting ideas promoted, they will also garner a serious commitment to action.

One caveat: The full moon will be sextile the North Node in Libra. This alignment points to the direction that we SHOULD be moving toward universally. Libra is fairness and negotiation – it is the sign that rules love. At the same time, it’s also in a trine to the South Node which is conjunct Uranus, the planet of surprises in Aries – the sign that rules fighting, action and war – so it seems that there may be commitment on both sides. The South Node always feels easier because it’s what we know. Because the North Node can seem unknown and uncomfortable, those who are committed to moving the collective toward love might question themselves. But if action is taken on their end, they can also gain commitment. That commitment will carry on for a couple of days with a strong concentration and focus on effort. Mercury is still retrograde though, so while there may be clarity and commitment, wheels might spin a bit.

We are back to relationships on the 9th when Venus conjunct Chiron. With both in Pisces, there’s a chance for collective wounds (with respect to relationships) to be healed. There is an imbalance in masculine and feminine energies, but the energy will allow us to see the patterns and also find a way through them. We might feel some difficulty in trusting our own intuition at this time. We are learning new ways to nurture and trust our own inner voice. On February 11th, Mercury goes direct again which will help a little by clearing up muddled communications and thinking.

Between the 10th and the 15th, Ceres will square the North Node, square Uranus, and will conjunct Pluto. This movement will bring up strong themes of needing to let go and to transform. In the myth of Ceres, the universal mother, Ceres, starved the world by causing famine when her daughter was taken by Pluto. Ask any mother who has lost a child: this is one thing that you don’t let go, but let go we must. Ceres is in Capricorn, so the things we may need to let go of include the idea of equating achievement with love. Can we let go of the idea that we need achieve to be loved?

2015-01-30 10.49.50The New Moon is on February 18th at 29’59 degrees of Aquarius, square Saturn. This is our second New Moon in Aquarius this year. This is an energy that can make us feel pessimistic. We may have great ideas and possibilities exist, but this is a ‘quit just before the miracle’ aspect. If we can push past the negativity then it is a powerful New Moon upon which to set new intentions. The New Moon is one second away from being in a new sign! That’s right, one second. Don’t quit before the miracle – push through. It’s widely conjunct Neptune, so if you can lean into that Neptune in Pisces, you may find some spiritual inspiration to pull you through. Here is a trick when things seem beyond you: admit it to the Universe. Just say ,“this is beyond me… can you help an earthling out?” You’ll be amazed at the inner resilience and courage that you will find.
The next day on February 19th, the surface tension will break. Mars will move into Aries – its home – where it will feel comfortable taking action. Mercury will also sextile Saturn, clearing up any negative thinking and helping us to be rational and logical.

On the 20th, Venus will move into Aries. On the 22nd, Mars and Venus will be conjunct! It’s too bad Valentine’s Day didn’t fall on the 22nd this year because that’s the day when sparks will fly. Also on the 22nd, Saturn will trine Juno (the marriage asteroid) and Venus and Mars will trine Saturn/Juno on Feb 24/25th. What does all of that mean? It means that in a couple of days, we might see relationships form and deeper commitments take place. This is also true of business partnerships.

At the month’s end, Mercury will trine the North Node. It’s a Friday and a great day to connect with your tribe. If you don’t have a tribe, this is the day you might link in with the right one.

Aries:
You may be pushing people out of the way to get on that soapbox at the Full Moon. It’s in your 5th house of drama and theatre. Try to remember to share the stage and limelight. The New Moon is in your house of humanitarian efforts. Set intentions at that time for anything related to helping others. You’ll be able to find your tribe through humanitarian involvement toward month’s end.

Taurus:
Are you the golden child in your family? You may not know how much influence and sway you hold – or maybe you do. At the Full Moon use your golden child influence for good. Remember the famous are so for either good or evil. At the New Moon, you can set intentions for the right kind of recognition. At month’s end you’ll be able to find your tribe at a career-related conference, maybe where you or others are featured as a thought leader.

Gemini:
You may be very opinionated at the Full Moon this month. You will need to be impeccable with your words as your opinions may be taken as fact. At the New Moon, you can set intentions for higher education. Maybe you have always wanted to get a degree or a particular certificate. You will find your tribe at month’s end by attending something like a Ted talk.

Cancer:
Your emotions will be on the theatrical side at the Full Moon. The emotions that emerge will be heavily based on your self esteem. Yes, the squeaky wheel will get the oil – emotions that are unhinged will get attention but try to stay away from emotional manipulation designed to externally reinforce your self esteem. Emotional theatrics based on managed emotions (and internally achieved self esteem) will make you feel better about yourself. Try a little meditation before expressing yourself. At the New Moon, you can set intentions for how to better share yourself with others. You will find your tribe at month’s end at through group therapy or a strangely enough… a funeral.

Leo:
You might be fluctuating between projecting out a persona: one that others expect you to be or allowing your authentic self to shine. You can allow yourself to be authentic at the Full Moon. You can be extremely convincing either way, but being fair to yourself will make you feel better about your presentation of self. You can set intentions at the New Moon for better partnerships. At month’s end, you will find your tribe by attending a business partnership event.

Virgo:
Sometimes you don’t need to say a word to lead others. It’s your actions that will speak louder than words. Believe it or not, being extremely self-indulgent with sleep, rest, and renewal (maybe even a spa day) will communicate leadership to others more than you know at the Full Moon. You can set intentions at the New Moon for a new and different kind of health regiment – one that fully supports you. You can find your tribe at a group where you compete with your new telemetry band (is it a Garmon Vivosmart? Who got the most sleep?!).

Libra:
At the Full Moon you will have an audience for your political opinions. Just make sure you’re not debating for the sake of debating. Have true conviction behind your political campaign, and stop trying to please! You can set intentions at the New Moon for stepping into your authentic leadership. You can find your tribe at month’s end at an improv class.

Scorpio:
Whatever you have been working to achieve will now bring you into the spotlight at the Full Moon. Others might join or oppose you; your influence will make others either love or hate you. Standing strong in who you are will help you grow a thicker skin. At the New Moon you can set intentions for your emotional involvement, security, and family ties. Toward the month’s end, you can make connections through family ties or the Grand Poobahs at the Loyal Order of the Water Buffalo.

Sagittarius:
Your teaching others now and they may see you as the latest and greatest Guru. You might need to make some adjustments in your teaching style to incorporate new learning. Remember we often teach what we need to learn. At the New Moon you can set intentions for getting to know your neighbours. Maybe your idea is to promote an inventive community program. Toward the end of the month, you can connect with your tribe at your local community center.

Capricorn:
You’re like the Mata Hari at the Full Moon but make sure to use your hypnotic influence to promote love. At the New Moon you can set intentions for increasing yourself, your esteem, and your wealth. Grab the book Think and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill. You can connect with the right tribe at the month’s end at a Think and Grow Rich meet-up group.

Aquarius:
You may be handshaking a deal at the Full Moon. It’s one that will put you in an influential and leadership position. You may be feeling unsure about your ability, but you have a unique perspective to offer. Plus, they wouldn’t have struck the deal if you were not the right person for the job – you know more than you think you know. At the New Moon, you can set intentions for how you want to project and brand yourself now. You can connect with your tribe at the month’s end by just being yourself – you’ll make yourself magnetic to the right people.

Pisces:
You make an impact and gain respect by focusing on detail at Full Moon on the 3rd. Others will be impressed by your thoroughness. At the New Moon you can set intentions for a deeper spiritual connection. You can link up with your tribe at a meditation event when you meet like-minded people. You might even realize that your tribe is your spiritual guides.

January Horoscope 2015

2014-12-31 09.57.37Happy New Year!

January marks a huge turning point. There will be lots of emotion released, but what I love about January is that seeds planted this month will have so much potential. It may not seem like much. We might discount it because there will be so much other stuff going on… but what we put out this month will have powerful potential to come to fruition.

January starts with Mars opposite Jupiter on New Years day. The energy of the first day of the year says a lot about how the year will pan out. It’s like that sentence at the beginning of the story that foreshadows the plot. When you read it, you don’t quite know the significance, but later in the story your mind flashes back to that sentence and you realize that the author has warned you, warmed you up, and prepared you.

Mars opposite Jupiter foreshadows insistent energy that can create conflicts if left unfocused. If it’s focused, this energy can be directed into positive enterprises with positive outcomes. The key to this transit is consciousness and planned selfless action. Spend New Year’s Day not just setting goals for the year, but really discovering what is driving you toward those goals. Aligning them with a higher purpose will be a good use of energy. Make SMARTE (Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Time bound, Evolved) goals rather than just SMART goals.

The Full Moon on the 4th is in Cancer and will line up with Pluto, Uranus, and the North Node. The tension will bring out the clingy, emotionally manipulative, or the fiercely protective mama energy of Cancer. This Full Moon will open up the wounds of the continuing saga of the Pluto/Uranus square. That square has been unsettling for government, big business, and has been upsetting the status quo with fierce backlash from various angles. The Full Moon’s connection with the North Node means that there will be attempts to settle the score. If you find yourself with a handprint across your face from mama, before you retaliate, ask yourself if maybe it was warranted? If it wasn’t… take some time to ponder her perspective. The North Node in Libra will help us make a balanced assessment.

On the same day, Saturn (newly in Sagittarius) makes one of its first connections with Venus and Mercury which have joined together in Aquarius. They bring out the diplomatic mediator energy and will brief Saturn on a humanitarian agenda. They will also give some new and inventive tips on how to move forward. Take heart that whatever moves Saturn makes will be made with good judgment.

32439334_sThe Full Moon and Pluto will also connect with Chiron. Again, the potential for healing is huge this month. The trick will be to allow ourselves to feel. Yes, our emotions might be intense. And yes, there may be a tendency to want to run or lash out. But if we sit with and process our emotions, much can be accomplished.

Luckily on Jan 7th, Mercury will make a positive aspect to Pallas and these two together will give us some perspective on what just happened. They’ll also help us look strategically and communicate tactically (the strategy is the what, the tactic is the how).

Mars will enter Pisces on Jan 12th until Feb 19th. The more our tactics incorporate a spiritual and intuitive approach, the more successful we will be. Otherwise we may get lost in indecisiveness.

Uranus will kick it up a notch between Jan 13/14th. It will help Venus and Mercury come up with more inventive ideas and new approaches to communicating and making money. We can get started on these ideas right away when these two connect with the North Node on the 14/15th, a time when we will work well together in our tribes and make fortunate connections. Though this energy is great for coming up with great and inventive ideas, it can be a little inflexible if opposed. We might experience this a bit from our significant others at this time. Try to be as flexible as possible without giving up on your hopes and dreams. Mars will also square Saturn on the 15th which can throw in some ‘Debbie downer’ energy and self-righteous road blocks. Take them with grace. Criticism and roadblocks often show up to help us consider things we might have missed or to help us slow down our pace. By the 17th, Uranus makes a positive aspect with marriage asteroid Juno – this opens our partnerships to change and our patience and flexibility will have paid off.

On January 19th, Venus will oppose Jupiter. It’s a day when we might be tempted to go over the top with spending and self indulgence. With this energy, I’ll remind you not to count your chickens before they have hatched. On the same day Mars will join together with Neptune. Really it’s a day that we will have a tendency to make poorly thought-out decisions. A better use of the energy is to direct it toward charitable and selfless actions.

The New Moon on Jan 20th will be in Aquarius. The New Moon will be making a positive connection with Saturn in Sagittarius. New Moons are a great time to set intentions and, with this connection to Saturn, success will come if we direct our energy toward new approaches to learning, teaching, a legal situation, or travel.

Pluto squares the North Node on January 21st the same day that Mercury goes retrograde. This transition marks a turning point on matters that have been brewing. Mercury going retrograde on the same day in Aquarius will ask us to slow down, turn inward, and reassess our thinking. Aquarius is very good at coming up with ideas and, though usually those ideas are usually ingenious, our confidence can make us a little too sure. January 21st to Feb 11th will be a time to re-check our drawings, our alignments, and our wirings. When Aquarius is involved, even a small error can lead to explosive results. From now to the end of the month, Mercury will reconnect with the North Node and Uranus and Pallas helping us to pick up the errors that we have missed.

Venus will move into Pisces on Jan 27th. Love and money will take on a tinge of universal love. This is also a very romantic sign for Venus to be in which is great for Feb 14th. I give you this sneak peek into February because Venus will also be aligned with Mars, making the potential for a very romantic February. Start planning your romantic surprise now!

On the 30th, we might be inspired to write and share our thoughts with someone. However with Mercury still retrograde, our ingenious and witty communication might not have its intended impact. Venus will also square Saturn on the same day and Mars will sextile Pluto. It’s a time when we will be assessing our loyalties and investments. It’s also a time when we might be a little pushy with our actions. The better way to use this energy is to journal, assess our relationships, and to come up with a strategy privately. When Mercury returns to its direct motion, we will have more clarity to act on our internal investigations.

Uranus will connect with the North Node on the last day of January. On the same day, Mars will connect with Chiron and Mercury with marriage asteroid Juno. We are now getting deeper into our healing and figuring out what is right for us. If these things have remained unconscious (and I hope they have not), they will still come out. The likely target – our partners (marriage or business) or the institutions of marriage and business. Whatever happens, we will be connecting with a path that is right for us, however messy it might look.
