Move with Purpose. Travel with Power….The Astrocartography advantage…

Over the last couple of weeks, I’ve realized something. I constantly use locational astrology for myself. But I have never offered it as a service.

Locational astrology, also known as astrocartography or relocation astrology, works in several ways. It’s based on the natal birth chart, and while the natal chart remains fixed at the moment of birth, moving to a different place on Earth shifts the angles of the chart, most notably the Ascendant, Descendant, Midheaven, and Imum Coel, and this alters how planetary energies are expressed. By mapping planetary lines across the globe, we can identify locations where specific planets are more prominent or influential. For example, someone might find career success on their Sun Midheaven line or experience deep emotional growth on their Moon Ascendant line. Locational astrology offers valuable insight into how different places can activate different aspects of a person’s life, experience and potential, and it can help guide decisions about travel, relocation, or, in my case, a spiritual pilgrimage.

I look at locational astrology every year for my solar return. On several occasions, I have relocated on my birthday to see if I could make the year go a little smoother. The first time I relocated on my birthday, I hired an astrologer to do the relocation for me. I didn’t want wishful thinking (which can happen when looking at your own chart) to get in the way. She advised that I go to Whitehorse, Yukon, during my birthday for about a week. The year was still rough, perhaps better than it could have been; that is hard to know, but at the end of the year, I decided to permanently relocate to Whitehorse. On paper, this little cold and remote town north of the 60th parallel seemed to have nothing to offer, but in my locational astrology, it put my Jupiter, the planet of expansion, in my career house, and the Moon, the planet of home, in my home and family house. The minute I stepped foot in that town, it felt like home! And every time I left, I was so happy to return. While I was there, my career excelled. Suddenly, I was on hiring panels with the Supreme and Territorial Court Judges and had one of the most coveted corner offices on the top floor with huge windows allowing me to experience beautiful morning sunrises. I left during Covid because of a need to be close to my parents and family obligations – sadly, I was having a Saturn transit, meaning increased obligations.

Then, in 2022, I started to travel a lot. I went to Egypt. I was a little afraid to go because of my Uranus line… it meant to expect the unexpected! With my Uranus line running through Cairo, Egypt, not only did I feel an unexpected and unusual draw to travel there, but I also connected with what I call my “Atlantis family” – Uranus can connect us to like-minded communities! I had the most unusual experiences, including experiencing rain in the desert and seeing lightning hit the Great Pyramid. I also had a Jupiter Local line running through Cairo. Here is what my computer report says about that – “Unexpected gifts can arrive at these locations. Wherever you go, the Gods seem to be smiling down.    The only drawback to this line is that you may become grandiose”. What happened? My room was upgraded to a suite, unbeknownst to me, I was also booked in first class on my flight to Abu Simbel. I was given a beautiful Libyan Desert Glass. I was gifted rooms to stay in for free by two different women whom I met and ended up travelling with. It started to go to my head. I started to think I was definitely Cleopatra or Nefertiti in a past life. I say that jokingly, but others also started to notice and make jokes in a similar vein. I then went on to the temples along the Nile. I had a Venus Pluto paran running through Abu Simbel. I felt a deep, sickly feeling of love there. It was beautiful and intense. Was I feeling the love of Ramesses II and Nefertari? My friend I was travelling with didn’t feel it, so I can only assume it was my parans!

Other travel lines proved interesting too. Years ago, when I travelled to Kathmandu, Nepal, I met a significant love interest. My North Node on the descendant (destiny line on relationship house) runs through Kathmandu. In Spain, I started my Camino where my North Node is on the Midheaven line, and this is where the inspiration for my book emerged.

Recently, I have been putting together a spiritual experience based on locational astrology and a very exciting alignment coming up in January 2026. Mars, Venus and the Sun will join together between January 6 and 7th – this is something that happens every 6.4 years. It makes what I am calling in my upcoming book, a Mar Rose Point. Over a 32-year cycle, Mars joins Venus and the Sun every 6.4 years to make a rose, and it does this for 160 years before changing it up a bit. We are currently in that 160-year cycle. You can discover what this cycle means in my upcoming book, but you can you can also find out what it means if you join my astro travel experience in January 2026. It will be happening in Toledo, Spain! There is something special about Toledo, Spain and this alignment. Venus and Mars will be in the heart of the Sun, and all these lines run through Toledo on the descendant of the geodetic chart (mundane chart). In astrology, the descendant marks the beginning of the relationship house, and the Venus, Mars, Sun conjunction is all about relationships. The plan is to use this cosmic event to dive into an experience designed to connect us spiritually with an inner (and for some, an outer) relationship of masculine and feminine energies, and to kick it up a notch by doing so on the locational line based on geodetic locational astrology.

This is not a novel idea. Many sacred sites were aligned to observe and take advantage of cosmic events. Cyclical ones, such as solstices and equinoxes, are aligned to many sites. For example, just days before this Jan 6th date, though Venus, Mars and the Sun will not be at the same degree, they will be at the same declination. Astronomically, this puts them travelling along the same line. Sites like the lightbox of Newgrange were said to be designed to observe these exact events, blocking out surrounding light to make it possible to see them rise, one after the other. This is happening on the December Solstice 2025. I talk about both of these events in this video.

Finally, on June 9, 2025, Jupiter will go into Cancer, and this will be a time when many will choose to move (Cancer rules home and real estate), and some will want to relocate to other parts of the world. Where does your Soul feel at home?

If you are interested in a report or a reading, here is what I would recommend:

  • For travel and exploring, what you will experience when you travel to a location, I would recommend a report.
  • If you are planning a travel experience or pilgrimage, as I am in January 2026, you can plan it according to the transits, and where those transit lines are on earth – this is a mundane chart that is set from Greenwich. If you’re planning an experience and you want to give your participants an extra as part of the experience, you can make a personal report part of the deal (as I will be in my offering). Contact me directly for a quote.
  • If you are feeling a need to relocate and start your life in a new location, locational astrology can tell you if a place is ideal for career or relationships and if there will be challenges. Timing is also important for this. For example, if you relocate to an area with Jupiter on the Midheaven, which seems good, but then have Neptune transiting over your Jupiter, this may not produce the results you intend. For this, I would recommend a reading.
