A Dark-Sky Astrology & Creativity Camping Experience

Here, astrology becomes a spiritual remembering. A meeting with the night sky as your elder. A reunion with the land as your teacher. A return to the truth that the universe breathes through you.

Set camp in the wilderness where artificial light disappears and the stars return to their rightful brilliance.

Pitch & Plot Your Chart

Here you’ll learn to cast your chart the original way — by watching the movements of the sky and feeling their resonance within you.

  • No screens.
  • No digital noise

Just celestial mechanics, mythic meaning,
and the intuitive wisdom of your inner cosmos.

You’ll trace the rising sign across the horizon, follow the planets as they wander, and let the living sky whisper your chart back into your memory.

COURSE MODULES

Three days rooted in nature, creativity, and intuitive integration. A full cycle of spiritual immersion: earth, body, myth, and sky.

Live Sky Readings - Astrology taught by the sky, not the instructor.

Receive teachings directly from the heavens— constellations, planets, houses, and alignments unfolding above you in real time.

Telescopes, star wheels, and ancient techniques help you witness Saturn’s rings, Jupiter’s moons, and the exact degree of your rising sign as it emerges into the night.

Dark Moon Rituals & Reflection

The new moon is the womb of the sky — a threshold where your intentions sink into fertile darkness.

We gather in quiet ritual: breathwork, soft grounding, journaling by red-light lantern, tracking transits as they echo your inner landscape. With no light pollution and no distraction, insight arrives like a pulse from the universe.

Night-Sky Myth & Math

We gather in quiet ritual: breathwork, soft grounding, journaling by red-light lantern, tracking transits as they echo your inner landscape. With no light pollution and no distraction, insight arrives like a pulse from the universe.

Trace the Babylonian origins of the zodiac, the Greek and Celtic star myths, and the cosmic mathematics ancient astrologers lived by. Discover the fixed stars that shape your angles and the archetypes that echo across history. This is wisdom passed from sky to human, teacher to seeker, spirit to spirit.

Cosmic Creativity

Here we embody our natal chart into art, writing, and expression—channelling your inspiration directly from the night sky.

Camping is one of the most ancient forms of spiritual practice—sleeping on the earth, waking with the horizon, and allowing the night to reveal you to yourself.

Whether you bring a tent, campervan, or choose glamping, this experience centers the sacred relationship between human, land, and cosmos.

If you feel the pull of the dark moon, if the old sky stories whisper to you, if you sense the universe longing to meet itself through you—then you are ready.

• Why partial eclipse light is dangerous

◦ Glasses ON before & after
◦ Glasses OFF only during true totality
◦ How to recognize totality:
▪ Sun fully covered
▪ Corona visible
▪ Sudden darkness & temperature drop
Practice:
Rehearse: on → off → on

10:30 –11:45 AM | Why Eclipses Happen
• Why eclipses don’t occur every New Moon
• The Moon’s tilted orbit & lunar nodes
• Eclipse seasons & Saros cycles
• Why Montsec is in the path of totality
• Embodied alignment exercise (Sun–Earth–Moon)

6:00–7:00 PM | Dinner

Viewing in National Park
Totality occurs at approximately 8:26 PM CEST. The maximum eclipse will occur around 8:30 PM CEST, and totality will end at about 8:33 PM CEST. The entire partial eclipse phase will begin at 7:30 PM CEST and conclude at 8:46 PM

TOTALITY | Direct Viewing
No Glasses
Visible during totality:
• Solar corona
• Prominences
• 360° horizon sunset
• Stars & planets
• Animal & wind shifts

Why totality matters:
• Only time the naked eye may see the Sun
• Partial eclipses teach mechanics
• Totality teaches awe
Minimal guidance. Witnessing only.

Immediately After Totality
• Glasses back on
• Light returns

9:30–10:00 PM | Fire Circle

• Nervous system recalibration
• Why eclipses feel disorienting

FAQ's

What is Astrology in the Wild?Astrology in the Wild is a three-night, new-moon camping experience held in Europe’s elite International Dark Sky Places. Participants learn astrology directly beneath the night sky—casting natal charts, identifying constellations, and exploring planetary movements using ancient, light-free techniques.

Do I need to know astrology or astronomy beforehand? Not at all. The experience is designed for beginners through intermediate learners. You'll be guided through every step—identifying the rising sign, learning constellations, and understanding chart structure.

What exactly will we be doing each day and night? Each location follows the same structure:
Nights: Live sky readings, navigation by stars, constellation mapping, new-moon ritual work, and observing planets via telescopes.

Days: Creative integration, writing and art sessions, myth & math lessons, group discussions, and personal chart work.

What’s included in the cost? The fee covers the full Dark Sky Astrology curriculum, guided sessions, telescope access, creative workshops, red-light lantern use, and support from your astrologer-guide.
Camping gear, transport, and food are not included unless arranged separately.

Do I need to bring my own tent or campervan? You are welcome to bring your own tent or campervan. Some locations may offer glamping options. If you need gear supplied, please email us before booking so we can coordinate equipment or rental options.

Where exactly is the campsite? The exact campsite location is provided after booking. We select dark-sky–optimal spots and aim for the whole group to be at the same campsite whenever possible. Detailed directions, parking info, and arrival notes will be sent once your place is confirmed.

Is camping required?Yes—this experience is designed to immerse you in true darkness. Camping ensures zero light pollution and full access to the night sky for chart casting, ritual work, and celestial observation.

Can I bring my children? Can I bring my dog?The Astrology in the Wild - Dark sky Astrology curiculum is for adults only. We recommend not bringing bring children or pets unless you have someone dedicated to caring for them so that you can dedicate your focus. Please also check the campsite restrictions.

What should I pack?A recommended list will be sent after booking, but generally:
- Tent or campervan, sleeping gear
- Warm layers (nights are cold even in summer)
- Red-light headlamp or lantern (white light is discouraged)
- Notebook & pen
- Comfortable shoes
- Reusable water bottle
Optional: binoculars, your birth data, favourite art supplies (some will be supplied)

How accurate does my birth time need to be?A precise birth time helps for rising sign and house calculations. If your time is approximate, let us know; we offer techniques for estimating angles based on the sky.

What happens if it’s cloudy? The workshop includes mythology, chart-building, creative sessions, and astrology lessons that do not require clear skies. If clouds roll in, we shift to these modules until visibility returns—dark-sky regions typically offer excellent breaks in cloud cover.

What is a New Moon and why schedule around it?The new moon provides the darkest sky possible. With no moonlight, constellations, planets, and the horizon line become dramatically clearer—ideal for learning sky-based astrology.

Is this a spiritual retreat or an educational workshop? Both. You’ll study ancient techniques, astronomy basics, and astrological principles, while also participating in optional rituals (intention-setting, journaling, creativity sessions). You can lean more toward the educational or the mystical—your comfort level guides your experience.

Is it physically demanding?Moderately. Expect walking on uneven ground, staying outdoors into the night, and cool temperatures after dark. There are no strenuous hikes, but participants should be comfortable with basic camping.

Are meals provided?Meals are not included. Each participant brings their own food or coordinates shared meals with other campers. Some sites have nearby cafés or facilities; details will be provided per location.

How large is each group?Group size is intentionally small—usually 5 - 10 participants—to preserve the quality of sky observation and personalized chart guidance

Can I attend more than one location?Absolutely! Each site has unique sky conditions and landscape energy. Many participants choose to attend more than one for a deeper journey.
